Air Conditioning Preventive Maintenance

The Florida Keys are beautiful, but the year around heat and humidity take a toll on everything in your home, especially your air conditioning system. Preventative Maintenance is required to keep these essential systems cooling.

GOING AIRE recommends doing the following at least 3 times per year:

1. Replace and/or clean the air filter(s).
2. Clean the evaporator section (coil, pan, condensate line, blower).
3. Check and lubricate all electrical connections, contactors and motors.
4. Clean condenser coil, make necessary adjustments, check/fill refrigerant charge, check amperage and voltage.
5. Complete operational check of the thermostat, the dehumidistat, the time clock, and both
the heating and cooling operation.

6. The process is documented by a a comprehensive report delivered to the customer and stored in our system.
